Ruth Akagu, is an environmental sustainability professional and entrepreneur working at the intersection of conservation, climate resilience, livelihoods, and human–wildlife coexistence across West Africa. She lead and support community-driven initiatives that restore degraded landscapes, strengthen water and food systems, and reduce human–wildlife conflict through nature-based and locally grounded approaches. Her work focuses on practical, field-tested solutions such as agroforestry, nature-based enterprises, and inclusive financing models that deliver measurable impact. She contributes to regional and global platforms, supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the design of scalable approaches to conservation and human–wildlife coexistence.
