Netherlands/Iran

I am an assistant professor at the Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Group of Wageningen University, the Netherlands. My research focus is on conservation questions related to the effectiveness of area-based conservation measures, and a better understanding of human-wildlife conflict. I am particularly interested in the conservation of big cats and mountain ungulates with a special focus on southwest Asia, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
