Julie Young

USA

Dr. Julie K. Young is an associate professor at Utah State University. Her research focuses on the behavior, ecology, and management of terrestrial mammals, with a goal of reducing human-wildlife conflicts and increasing coexistence. She has also worked on beaver translocations and conservation of ungulates, tortoises, marine mammals, and birds. Julie also teaches undergraduate and graduate classes and serves as the ​Director of the Berryman Institute at Utah State University. She also enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, travel, and spending time with her family and friends.
