Dr Chloe Inskip

Editorial Officer, UK

Chloe Inskip is the Editorial Officer for the Specialist Group. She has been working in the field of human-wildlife conflict since 2007, focusing predominantly on researching and addressing conflict between people and felids. She completed her PhD at the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology in 2012, researching the human dimensions of human-tiger conflict in the Bangladesh Sundarbans. She co-led the planning and development of a Darwin Initiative-funded human-tiger conflict project in Nepal and has been involved in human-elephant conflict and human-jaguar conflict initiatives in Assam, India and Latin America respectively. Chloe takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding and addressing conflicts and is particularly interested in the socio-psychological factors that drive conflicts and empowering communities to coexist with local wildlife.
